Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz Movie Reviews

The story of the film is okay, but the screenplay is seen to be very weak and spreading. Director O'Neel, who made a memorable film like My Brother Nikhil, has made this film based on the radio station show on Kolkata's Backdrop. So let's see how this movie is:

Rating: 2/5

Release Date: 16 February 2018

Running Time: 1hrs 56mins

Starring: Geetanjali Thapa, Zain Khan Durrani, Shray Rai Tiwari

Plot: The film's story begins with the Kolkata radio station, where Radio Jockey Alfaz (Jain Khan Durrani) hosts his knight show 'Kuch Bhige Alfaz'. Who has heard the whole city Alfaz is also heard by Archana (Gitanjali Thapa), and he falls in love with her. The story progresses gradually. There are many ups and downs. Archana is in search of Alfaz for her personal and professional relationships, and Alfaz has many layers in her own story. You have to go to the theatre to see what happens in the end.

Acting: Gitanjali Thapa and Jain Khan Durrani's work are common. They have to improve in the next films.

Direction: The film's direction is good. The location has been very good to show the city of Kolkata. Camera work with backdrop is also superb. The radio set has also tried to show you well. Shares and Shayari-filled dialogues are also in the film. The film's story is okay, but the screenplay is seen to be very weak and spreading. Especially it is the speed of the film that needs to be improved. The climax was also supposed to be budgeted, which needed to be a romance.

Whether to watch or not: Watch this movie once if you like a radio show, otherwise it is worthwhile to make another plan.
